DAREN RABINOVITCH is a director, artist and writer specializing in films that blend reality and fantasy.
Born in Santa Cruz, California, he pursued a fine art career in San Francisco for several years while working as a special effects artist for films like The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.
Experiments with special effects and photography led to work with Encyclopedia Pictura where he created the short films The Tale of Hillbelly and Tactical Advantage and collaborated on Björk’s Wanderlust music video.
He has also directed music videos for Harry Styles, Dan Deacon, Metronomy, Dirty Projectors and various commercials.
